Digestibilidad in situ de la materia seca de hojas de tres arboles multiproposito (AMP) y pasto estrella (Cynodon plectostachyus) en borregas fistuladas
The aim of the study was to evaluate the chemical composition and the in situ digestibility of the dry matter (ISDDM) leaves of three trees multipurpose (MPT) and the star African grass in Pelibuey ewes. The experiment was carried out in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at the Chiapas's Autonomous University, Mexico. Six ewes with 325 kg of body weight and a ruminal fistulae inserted were used. A randomly designs with four treatments and six repetitions were utilized, in where treatments were the MPT leaves and fistulae sheep represented the experimental repetitions; CTL: (control) Star grass ( Cynodon plectostachyus), GU: Caulote ( Guazuma ulmifolia); LL: Guaje ( Leucaena leucocephala) and GL: Yaite ( Gliricidia sepium). The ISDDM was determined using the bag of nylon technology, at different times of incubation (periods of 0, 4, 8, 12, 24, 36, 48 and 72 hours). ( ium). The ISDDM was determined using the bag of nylon technology, at different times of incubation (periods of 0, 4, 8, 12, 24, 36, 48 and 72 hours). The speed of degradation of the DM (SDDM) was different among treatments, being of 0.08 b; 0.05 c; 0.12 a and 0.05 c % h-1 for CTL with GU: and LL, but GU only it is similar with GL, (P>0.001). The potential digestibility of the MS (PDDM) was different (P<0.001) being of 90.2; 63.6; 67.5 and 51.7% for CTL, but not for GU, LL and GL. The DEDM was different (P<0.001) being of 69.8; 47.9; 41.2 and 40% being different CTL but not for GU, LL and GL. The leaves of the AMP used in this investigation are an alternative to be used in the nutrition of the ewes ones in the epochs of low water principally by his content of protein and to support the corporal condition.
