Abstract
The present work reports an outbreak of intoxication by aflatoxin B1 in 150 adult bovine male,males from a herd of 1774 animals, in confinement system, fed on commercial citrus pellet.All animals were evaluated clinicaly, and ones that died were necropsied and tissues submitted to histo-pathotology. The intoxication was confirmed by aflatoxin B1 presence in samples of the citrus pellet and in fragments of liver of the animals which died.
