Description 
Leaves bi-pinnate with 4 secondary petioles. Marked "sleep movements" at night when leaflets fold together and petioles droop. This happens very rapidly is the plant is touched or shaken. This is possibly a mechanism to deter grazers.
Distribution 
Tropical America but widely naturalized.
